Uncharted Waters

Baby Girl has caught Will's flu bug and she's really, really sick.  Oy!  I so hoped this wouldn't happen.  Yet here we are: Plunged head first into the uncharted waters of nebulisers; paediatric syrups; and clinical thermometers.  Oh, and even less sleep.  Who knew that was even possible?!

Will and I must have been living under a rock, because we seem to be the only two people on this planet who, until this weekend, had been blissfully unaware of the existence of the invention that is the nebuliser.  I wonder if the pharmacist could tell that I was completely clueless when she nonchalantly asked if I owned one?  We have since awakened from our (figurative) sleep, though, and Will and I have both turned into nebuliser operators of note.  Just sayin'.

The hardest part of having a sick baby, to me, is the all time high level of motherly concern that goes with the territory.  Seeing that pale little face and those tired little eyes just breaks my heart.  Get well soon, Baby Girl!

My two patients.
