A bump-y run

This morning, after breakfast and a second nap, I took my bump for a run/walk (okay, okay, more of a shuffle/walk) around the golf course.  It felt so good to get outside and get the blood pumping!  Running with a bump does, however, present its fair share of challenges...  First of all, your support needs skyrocket: Everything feels big and bouncy!  Enter my retro turquoise ballet leotard from days gone by.  Bounce under control - check!

Secondly, things do get a bit uncomfy.  I've been experiencing some pressure/pain in certain, ahem, strategic regions lately, and unfortunately running seems to be making it worse.  I'm keeping a close eye on it, but suspect that I might have to be switching to something kinder on the joints, like swimming, soon.

I'm also very close to outgrowing my normal running gear - my bright blue bump seriously wants out!  I guess it will soon be me and Will's t-shirts...

  1. I have that leotard! Sweet bump :) I only ran during one of my pregnancies, and only until 5 months, I think. I remember every step feeling like I was going to pee!
