My Festive Season Wish List

I had so much fun writing this post - don't you agree that drooling over running stuff is almost just as much fun as actually getting all the stuff that you dream about?  So for me this post is pretty much just a whole lot of drooling - having all of these things would be great, but just being able to run is even better!

1.  Adidas Ultimate High Rise Tights

[Source.]

I've been eyeing these tights for months now - aren't they awesome?!  But holy price tag...!  I'm secretly hoping that they'll go on sale real soon...  One can dream, right?

2.  Tickets to This Party!

[Source.]

Six hours of classes, activations, healthy noshing and a jam-packed goody bag - my idea of a dream night out!  Not sure if my girlfriends will agree, though...?  (I'm looking at you, T and A...!)  But I'd love to go - why on earth is Kimberley so far from absolutely everything??

3.  A Jeep Warrior Race Entry

[Source.]

Long-time readers will probably roll their eyes, because I've been threatening to do an Obstacle Course Race (OCR) for years now.  Perhaps a gifted race entry will convince me to finally take the plunge...?  (Plus the first Warrior Race of 2016 is on the day after the above-mentioned party...  In the same area!  Aaaand one could of course squeeze in a Gauteng parkrun on the morning before the party just for good measure...  I obviously haven't given this a lot of thought at all, ha!)

4.  Home Made Traditional Drinks Jar With Straw

[Source.]

I love this jar!  Summertime is smoothie-time in our household and we blitz up at least one batch of fruity goodness every day.  With a 450 ml capacity, this jar is exactly the right size for our concoctions, plus it's made of glass (no leaching nasties) and the straw is BPA-free - perfect!  You can buy these from Faithful to Nature here.

5.  Adidas Climalite Cap

Miss K trying it out.  She agrees that it's gorgeous!

This cap is gorgeous and it fits my big head comfortably.  I love it and I think I need three!

Thanks to the ladies from Eat Pray Run DCYou Signed up for What? and Mar on the Run for the opportunity to share these drool-worthy items as part of their Friday Five link-up!

  5. Great list! Love the tights, hate that they're so darn expensive! I don't wear running hats because of my big head, maybe there's hope for me yet? LOL

  6. I have a very big head, Janelle, so there's definitely hope! Adidas is the only brand I've found so far that caters for us, ahem, brainy bunch ;).

    1. I think I'll also stick to the milder OCRs, John - I just have to bridge that mental gap and do my first one...!
