It's OFM Classic time!

I can hardly believe it's that time of the year again: OFM Classic time!  The MTN OFM Classic is the largest annual cycle race on our city's calendar and also a qualifying race for the Pick n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour, Will's climax race each year.  Needless to say that our household is buzzing with all things cycling this weekend!

Five months pregnant with Baby Girl at last year's OFM Classic.

Will comes from a whole family of avid cyclists: His parents both cycle (and still complete numerous century rides each year); his sister cycles (this will be her second OFM Classic) and his brother-in-law cycles too (unfortunately he's currently still recovering from a nasty fall at the ABSA Cape Epic earlier this year and will be sitting the OFM out this time).  Which means that, on top of all the excitement this weekend brings cycling wise, we also get to hang out with the family - yay!

We tried avoiding the pre-race rush by going to packet pick-up as late as possible, which, if I may say so myself, was a brilliant strategy.  We were in and out in ten minutes flat - score!

The rest of our evening was spent chilling with the family, taking it easy and getting everything ready for tomorrow's race.  I think I'm way more excited than Will!

Good luck, Will - we'll be cheering for you all the way!
