Oy. What a week. Let's just say that right now I'm loving the thought of today being Saturday!
Thankfully this week also had its fair share of good stuff:
- Baby Girl has adapted very well to our new 'working mom' schedule: She adores her new sitter and I can often hear them laughing and giggling in the room next door while I work. Part of me (a BIG part!) wishes that it could be me laughing and spending time with her; while another part of me is also extremely thankful that she's happy and that the transition went smoothly. Wow - motherhood is certainly not for sissies!
- I discovered the most amazing place to run this week: It has dirt roads, beautiful views and is only a stone throw away from where we live. The only down side, though, is that it's a bit secluded and that I don't feel safe going there alone... Until now Will has graciously volunteered as my (poor) sidekick - tagging along in the freezing cold for my running pleasure. I'll have to find a more permanent solution though - maybe pepper spray and a prodder will do the trick?
- I re-discovered the head-clearing powers of a chilly winters run at the end of a long working day. Gotto love it.
Hope you all have an amazingly awesome weekend. Live. Every. Moment!
Yay! I'm glad baby girl adjusted well!
ReplyDeleteThat running spot looks glorious! If I lived closer, I'd go with you! :)
